Claudine designs and facilitates original programming that creates connections and builds community. Drawing on an Emmy Award-winning career in journalism and live events, she asks questions that elicit thoughtful responses, weaves a coherent narrative from often-disparate voices, and navigates delicate situations with agility and natural empathy. 

At the heart of Claudine's work is a deep interest in why people gather, particularly at the grassroots level. She is currently focused on programming for older adults—a segment of the population for whom connections are most vital. Claudine has taught popular courses at organizations such as Dorot, Sidekick Concierge, and local civic groups that explore current events through the lenses of history and personal storytelling and encourage participation in civic and political affairs. She has also continued to advise institutions ranging from Bloomberg Live and Fast Company to Columbia Business School and others on building engaging events with audience interaction and published output.

Claudine spent nearly six years at The New York Times as director of programming for its live journalism team, building the editorial content for signature events such as DealBook, and earned an Emmy Award in 2022 for series producer, outstanding live interview. Prior to that, she was a producer with the strategic content group at CNBC and the lead politics producer for The New York Times’s groundbreaking live video coverage of the 2012 election cycle. Over ten years at CNN, she produced business and international news in the field and in the control room for anchors such as Christiane Amanpour, Christine Romans and others. She earned an Emmy Award in 2004 as co-producer of continuing coverage of the impact of trade deals on U.S. manufacturing. She started her career as a Capitol Hill staffer.

Claudine earned a B.A. magna cum laude from Tufts University and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and lives in the New York area.
